I am looking to find out who might have lived or rather died in the house that is located at 2500 County Road 110, Alger, Oh. I have been told that this house has a "Guest" that is a child and likes to play with the kid's toys, of the people who live there now! The family that lives there now has 2 children and they have heard this "Child/Guest" playing with their toys, and the mother has also heard it. Can you help with this information? Thank you, Vickie Reed

DARDINGER, DARDINGERS, KELLEY posted by Dave Dardinger on Thursday, August 1, 2002

DARDINGER Looking for information on DARDINGERS in Harding County. I believe some lived there; in fact there are some of the West Virginia DARDINGER clan who married into a KELLEY clan. I'm especially interested in Stephen DARDINGER. A Stephen DARDINGER lived in Columbus, Ohio and one lived in West Virginia. I just don't know if it was one or two Stephens. They lived in the same time period. One was in the civil war 1862-5 and the other became naturalized in Ohio in 1863 at a time when the other one should have been in Martinsburg, WV. Any information anyone can shed on the situation would be appreciated.

DARDINGER, JONES, SCHLUEP, SCHLUPP posted by Dave Dardinger on Wednesday, August 14, 2002

In reviewing the information I have about DARDINGERS, one of the daughters of Stephen DARDINGER (the earliest DARDINGER I know of; wife Anne Marie SCHLUPP,) Emma married a S C JONES. Without a full name I've dispaired of finding more information, but looking at the obituary for Stephen DARDINGER. I see that the funeral was officiated by a Dr. JONES who elsewhere in my records is called Rev. G James JONES of the Forest Presbyterian Church. This brings up the possibility that S C JONES comes from this family of JONES. Does anyone have more information on Dr. JONES family?
