Margaret (HOEY) LANNING my GG Grandmother and her sister, Isabella Hoey are buried in Grove Cemetary, in Kenton. There are three other markers, Amos E. BENNER 1857-1934, CatherineBENNER 1861-1909, and Wanda BENNER 1912-1913. According to the caretaker, the BENNERS were relatives of the LANNINGS or the HOEY but he didn't know how. The LANNINGS and HOEYS came from the Lancaster Co., Pa. area. What brought them to Kenton, I haven't figured that out yet. I would like to know if anyone knows how the LANNINGS, HOEYS, and BENNERS are related. Thank you

I need help finding information on the date of death for; Thomas Leonard MORRIS -born March 19, 1884 McDonald Township, Hardin County, Kenton, Ohio He died in 1955 in another state, I think Oregon, but he is interred in the Roundhead Cemetery.There is no marker. There had to be a cemetery permit in 1955. His father was Thomas J. MORRIS His mother was Mariah Ann GRIFFIN. I will gladly pay for the information. Thank You

Jacob NAU (b.11-14-1778 in Prussia. d.1-25-1853) from Goodhope twp.. He married Margaretta JOST (b.1787 Prussia, d.10-19-1854). His daughter, Elizabeth, is my G grandmother. She married John HANKINS and lived in Hardin County, Roundhead.

I am looking for information on the family of Jake (or Jacob) KOONS and his wife Mary who lived in Hardin County. They had a son, James Brown KOONCE (my great-grandfather) who was born in Hardin County on August 14, 1847. Also, he had a brother named John, possibly a twin. James was in the Civil War and enlisted in the State of Illinois in 1864 showing his place of birth in Hardin County.Ohio. After the Civil War, the name was changed from KOONS to KOONCE. Later, he married a woman from Kentucky named Frances. Any information would be greatly appreicated. Thanks

Greetings - I have some info. on HARRIS - hope it helps, but I don't know if these HARRIS'S were in Hardin Cty, but their ancestors were. Emma Ruth PALMER (distant cousin to me) m. Harry HARRIS, year unknown, but one child, Wayne Palmer HARRIS b. 9-22-1929. Emma's grandmother (Emma J. JONES) was born in Ohio, past that I don't know. Emma's ancestors trace to John and Sarah JONES, (our common ancestors) who moved to Hardin Cty (from Knox Cty, Oh) about 1854. If anyone is interested, I have a summary of the JONES Family including their time in Hardin Cty.

Valentine and Katherine (ROESSER) WOLF lived in Hardin Co. when 5 of their 11 children were born Anthony in l903, Albert in 1905, Joseph in 1907, Marie in 1909 and Lucy in 1911.The other six children were Joseph in 1893, Eva in 1894 and Leo in 1896 all in West Jefferson, Ohio. Anna in 1897 and Francis in 1899 were born in Essez, Union Co., Ohio. John born in 1901 in Agosta, Ohio. Anna married Esley BENSON in 1916 in Hardin Co.Valentine and Katherine were both born in Germany. If I can be of any help to anyone let me know.

Sarah E. WOLF (e) (July 1863 ) in Logan Co. Ohio. Married Albert O. MCCLELLAND (4 Apr 1854-1941) on 5 Dec 1883 in Ohio. I am told that her parent's name was Simeon Peter and Lydia Jane NORTON WOLFE. However; I have hit a brick wall in finding Simeon Peter WOLFE in Ohio in the middle 1800's. I know that she was a student in college at the time my great grand-father met and married her. Is it possible that she was an exchange student? Is there any way you can help me look up this evasive Simeon Peter WOLFE and Lydia Jane NORTON. Any county, dates, or other information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and effort.
