Looking for pre-1840 Ohio LAMBERT connections to Va or W.Va LAMBERTS. 1830 Ohio census shows no LAMBERTS living in Hardin, Wyandot, or Logan Counties. 1840 Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio census reports Isaac LAMBERT with wife and at least one child, possibly two. 1850 and 1860 Richland Twp, Wyandot Co census reports Isaac (b. abt 1814, Va) and wife named Catherine (b. abt 1822, Oh, d. 27 October 1866). It appears they were married 1837-1838 timeframe in Hardin Co., Oh. Have no clue regarding her surname or marriage license. After the 1840 census the family spent some time (ca. 1843) in Logan Co (as recorded by the birth of one child). Children as follows: 1. Hannah LAMBERT (b. Abt. 1838 Oh, d. ?) 2. Adam LAMBERT (28 February 1840 Kenton, Hardin Co. Oh, d. 07 June 1921 Ok) 3. Samuel LAMBERT (b. Abt. 1842 Oh, d. ?) 4. Jesse LAMBERT (b. 30 August 1843 Oh, d. 04 September 1919 Mt) 5. Catherine LAMBERT (b. 11 September 1845 Oh, d. 17 August 1851 Oh) 6. Sarah E. LAMBERT (b. 18 January 1847 Oh, d. 05 October 1865 Oh) 7. Jacob LAMBERT (b. Aug 1850 Oh, d. Bef. 1860 Oh) 8. Prudence LAMBERT (b. Abt. 1852 Oh, d. Aft 1887 KS(?)). After the death of his wife, Catherine in 1866, Isaac marries Nancy Mary MCCUNE (b. abt 1845, Oh, d. ?) on 03 March 1867. 1870 Wyandot Co. census reports them together with one child - John (b. Feb/Mar 1870). Final entry is 1880 Wyandot Co. census reports Isaac LAMBERT living alone. At least four of the children survive into adulthood and marry. If you can tie your LAMBERT line into any of the LAMBERTS listed, please contact me. I have more information on descendants to share. I'd be interested in exploring possible connections that you raise. I need help locating ancestors of Isaac and how he came to Hardin County.

I am looking for information on the BREIDENBACH family before Conrad BREIDENBACH. He may have been known as "Coonrod". He came from Europe in the mid 1800s. I realize this is not a lot to go on, but William (no middle name) BREIDENBACH was his (I don't know how many greats) grand son. He died in 1986(7). He was married to Christine LINTZ BREIDENBACH and more recently Lillian DIETZ BREIDENBACH. His son is William LINTZ BREIDENBACH (my father). If there is more specific data that you would need let me know & I may be able to find it. Thank you.

BURDETT Surname in Hardin County. My greatgrandfather, Emery (or Emory) BURDETT was born in Ohio, probably Hardin County. Dunkirk is mentioned by his surviving children as the town he talked of. He had at least 4 brothers, one named Simon. Emery settled and died in Texas. His oldest children were born in the late 1800s. I do not know his parents' names. His birthday was probably 1858 or 1859, it could have been as early as 1850.
