MADORY, STEPHEY, STURGIS, VOLTZ posted by Marla Lindsay on Sunday, May 21, 2000

I am looking for information on Anna VOLTZ STEPHEY who may have married a MADORY. She had a daughter named Marie who later married into the STURGIS family. Anna was born in Germany around 1849 and moved from Wyandot County to Hardin County. She was first married to George STEPHEY and they had the following children: Emma, Elmer, William, Liva Mae, Edward, Clydas (Bert), and George Jr. Her daughter Emma Jennnie also married into the MADORY family. All anyone has told me is that it was quite a little soap opera at the time so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
