DENNIS, LAMLEY posted by Carol M. Dennis on Sunday, February 7, 1999

DENNIS surname.....I am searching for information on the descendants of Stephen DENNIS, son of James DENNIS born 1822 in Loudoun County, Va. Stephen would have been the grandson of Absolum DENNIS, Sr. who moved to Monroe County, OH in 1832/1833. James DENNIS died of measles at Alton, IL while serving in the Civil War. Stephen DENNIS signed guardianship papers for his younger brothers and noted that he lived in Hardin County, Oh and I have learned thru the grapevine that Stephen married Mary LAMLEY in Noble County, Oh on October 16, 1878 and 11 children. The family lived and raised those 11 children in Hardin County. I would like information on the children and grandchildren of Stephen and Mary DENNIS. I have DENNIS family info that I will gladly share.
