My Ancestors left Ada Ohio and came to Kansas in 1877, in the northeast part. Father: Edward D. THOMPSON, B.8-12-1828, M.8-5-1853, D.12-3-1910. Mother; Catherine "Kitty" (PRESTON), B.12-27-1833, D. 3-22-1896. They came to Kansas with ten children. Edward's parents were James THOMPSON, B.4-30-1790, D.12-25-1878. Mother: Michha KELLY, B.11-12-1792, D.9-15-1886. After Edward & Kitty got to Kansas, they had Cora May.. Children: #1 Sarah Elizabeth THOMPSON, B.7-1-1853, D.1-28-1920, Married D. C. EMERY. #2 James Loveless THOMPSON, B.7-10-1855, M.7-10-1882, D.10-23-1948, Married Harriett Ann WOOD, B.5-13-1862, D.9-1-1933. #3 Violoqua THOMPSON, B.12-20-1857, Married Lew MATHENY. #4 L. Looking for any descendants of Joseph WILLIAMS and Jerusha DECKER WILLIAMS. Would like to find out why Joseph left Hardin Co., Ohio sometime between 1850 and 1870 and went to Howell Co., Mo. Did Joseph and Jerusha divorce? She shows up on 1870 census of Hardin Co. listed with two children, Simeon age 26 and Elizabeth age 18. There were 9 children listed with Joseph and Jerusha on the 1850 census; Cornelius, James W., Henrietta, Ithemore G., Simeon, Melvina, Charlotte, Mary Ann, and Elizabeth Ellen. Can anyone help me? Have proof that he was in Howell Co., Mo about 1866. Also know where he and his dau., Henrietta Williams FULS, m. Samuel FULS, is buried in Howell Co., Mo. Thank You
