MCADAMS, Ada, Hardin Co.--Charles Gates MCADAMS was born in 1852. I am looking for his parents. Any MCADAMS enthusiasts out there? February 1997 I am searching for any descendants/ancestors of James MCADAMS and Sarah HAINES. They were married circa 1820, and lived in Ada, Marion/Liberty Township, Hardin County. Their children were Mary C., Hannah, Alfred O., Amanda M., Martin H. (died young), Samuel H., Charles G., Rachael J., and James. Apparently one of the daughters married into the MCFARLAND family. There are two granddaughters named Millie and Ella MCFARLAND, who were 5 and 7 years old in 1880. Any information on their descendents (or ancestors) will be much appreciated. Thank you.

I am searching for brothers Jacob William and John Wesley FERREE. John was born in 1838 and Jacob in 1851. John's daughter, Minniehaha (Minnie H.) was born in Hardin County in 1866. John Wesley was married to Susan OSBUN and Jacob was married to Elizabeth Calista GLENN. I believe their father was a William FERREE and their mother was Ann HAISLETT. I would appreciate hearing from anyone whho might know about these FERREES. After they left Hardin, they moved to Richland County. I would like to know where they lived before coming to Hardin and if there were any other siblings. I would also like to know anything about the family before William. He was born in Pennsylvania, I believe.
