4/6/98 WOOD, James Fletcher (my great-grandfather) was born 22 Jun. 1834 in Ohio, (county unknown at this time) and died 14 Aug. 1912 in Richland Cty, Wi. On 5 Mar. 1856, he married Emily LEE in Kenton, Hardin Cty, Oh. She was born 15 Apr. 1835 in Leeds, England to John G. and Phila LEE. John, Phila, Emily, her sister, Caroline (born 1837 in Leeds, England) and her brother Joseph (born 1839 in Oh.) were living in Hardin Cty, Cessna Twp, Oh. in 1850. Emily died 8 Apr. 1923 in Richland Cty, Wi. WOOD, Jesse L. (James' brother) was born 15 Feb. 1828 in Oh. (cty unknown at this time) and died 20 Dec. 1913 in Richland Cty, Wi. On 21 Aug. 1856, he married Mary NEFF in Madison TWP, Richland Cty, Oh. Mary was born 1829/1833 in Lancaster Cty, Pa., to John and Barbara NEFF. Mary's daughter, Louisa Barbara WOOD (born 1859) married Joseph N. KANAGA on 11 Sep. 1877. Jesse and Mary were living in Cessna Twp, Hardin Cty in 1860. Mary's son John Frank WOOD married Sophia M. RENFUS on 13 Oct. 1885 in Mansfield, Richland Cty, Oh. Mary's other daughter, Hattie married J. L. THOMPSON in Hardin Cty, Oh,on 10 Aug. 1885. A descendant of Mary's sister, Louisa Barbara NEFF is trying to locate the NEFF family bible which was bequeathed to Jesse and Mary's son John Frank WOOD in 1897 when Louisa Barbara NEFF died. Any information about the above people will be greatly appriciated. 5/4/98 LEE, John G,born abt 1808,and wife Phila, born abt 1812 in Leeds, England. They had three children, Emily LEE, born 15 Apr 1834, (my great-grandmother), Caroline LEE,born abt 1837 and Joseph LEE,born abt 1839, all in Leeds, England.They are listed on the 1850 census as farmers living in Hardin Cty, Cessna Twp Oh. 2/10/97 I am trying to determine the parentage of Jeremiah WOOD, b. 2 Feb. 1755 in Woodbridge N.J. Buried in Wesleyan Cem. Newton Twp. Muskingum Co. Also, the whereabouts of his wife's grave. 3/1/97 I am looking for information on John Henry PEARSON who was born on 22 June 1834 in Clark Co, Ohio and died in Hardin County, Ohio on 9 Feb 1880. His wife was Mary Jane STOUT (born 1838 and died 22 Aug 1886) in Hardin County, Ohio of lung disease. Her parents were Ezekial and Aley MEYER STOUT. Aley is short for Aletha. Both were born in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Aley's death date is unknown. Ezekial died in Hardin Co, Ohio on 26 Jan 1874. 5/18/97 Looking for information on Ezekial STOUT who died in Hardin Co, Ohio in 1874. He lived in the Patterson area. His wife's name was Aley. Is this Ezekiel STOUT and Aletha MEYER who were married Sept 1830 in Harrison Co, VA?

Looking for info on families of John & Sarah MCELROY. John b. Ireland, Sarah PA, came to Hardin Co., Oh abt 1815. Sons George, b 1816 Hardin Co., John, Jacob, James. George married Eliza Wilson, b. Hardin Co 1823, m. 1843 Hardin Co. John & Sarah said to be buried in McElroy Cem., Liberty Twp. George and family with at least 2 of his brothers came to Mich. 1863.
